A 6-year-old girl died in a fire that was allegedly started by a 14-year-old teenager. The incident occurred in the early hours of September 10 in Leicester, England. The little girl was identified as Chamiah Brindley.

Several relatives of the deceased minor were taken to a hospital to receive treatment for smoke inhalation.
Hours after the blaze, a 14-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of setting the fire. The teenager is currently out on bail.
Investigators told the English newspaper The Sun that “An arrest has been made. Detectives are working closely with fire officials to establish the full circumstances leading up to the incident.”
‘My heart goes out to them’: Neighbor of girl killed in fire
Several neighbors from the community came to the property and left flowers, letters and even a pink stuffed unicorn that belonged to the dead girl.
A neighbour told The Sun that “She was a beautiful little girl and adored by her mother. My heart goes out to all of them. It is a terrible thing that happened.”
The woman added: “We don’t know how the fire started, but many of us were awakened by the sounds of screaming and commotion.”
