Dough Ingredients
- 1 cup (tea) wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- ½ cup cornstarch (cornstarch)
- 3 tablespoons of chocolate powder
- 6 whites
- 6 excited
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
Topping Ingredient
- 3 cups of whipped cream
- Strawberries to taste
Filling Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of cream
- 1 box of chopped strawberries
Dough Preparation Method
- Clean the strawberries from the filling and topping. Reserve.
- Grease and flour a 25 cm pan. Reserve.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Using a mixer, beat the egg whites and add the yolks.
- Without stopping beating, add the sugar, cornstarch, chocolate powder, flour and yeast.
- Place in the pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the dough comes out clean.
- Unmold, cut in half and set aside.
Filling preparation method
Mix all the ingredients and stir well.
Cake Assembly
- Spread the filling over one part of the cake.
- Cover with the other part of the dough.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cake.
- Decorate with strawberries.
Mom Tips
If you prefer, on other occasions, you can replace the strawberry with cherries or another fruit of your choice.
Whipped cream can be replaced with Royal Icing
