The rules of the debate between Trump and Biden
It is developed following strict rules: Each candidate’s microphone will be turned off when the allotted time for responses is up and there will be no audience or teleprompter, the device that allows you to read a text without looking away from the camera. It lasts an hour and a half. By drawing lots, Biden occupies the right side of the stage and Trump has the last word.
It is the first time the president and his Republican predecessor have come face to face since 2020.
Trump and Biden debate the economy and migration, two of the issues that most concern the electorate according to surveys.
Biden is trying to distance himself from his rival’s rhetoric, who accuses migrants, many of them Latin Americans, of “poisoning the blood” of the country.

The first to enter was Biden, who greeted the moderators smiling, and then Trump entered, much more serious, who did not look at his opponent.

What do the candidates think about the migration crisis?
Former Republican President Donald Trump (2017-2021) accused the current American leader, Joe Biden, of opening the country to criminals and having caused citizens to currently live in a “rat nest”, with murders perpetrated by immigrants.
“We are living in a rat’s nest right now. They are killing our people in New York, in California, in every state, because we no longer have borders.”he told Biden.
In response, Biden accused Trump of exaggerating and telling lies about the state of the country’s immigration crisis.
The idea that illegal immigrants are being welcomed into the United States is “simply not true,” Biden said.
“There is no data to support what he said. Once again, he is exaggerating. He is lying.”Biden said.

Trump challenges Biden to a cognitive test
Donald Trump challenged US President Joe Biden to take a cognitive test, saying he did not believe his Democratic rival for the White House in 2024 could pass it.
“I took two cognitive tests. I got A’s in them, both of them, as you know, we made public. He didn’t take either. I’d like him to take one, just one, a really easy one, like reviewing the first five questions.” “He couldn’t do it,” Trump said during the first debate of the election campaign between the two.
Trump has not said which test he took or what his score was, making it difficult to verify his claims.
