What did Donald Trump say after the attack?
“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement agencies for their swift response to the shooting, which took place in Pennsylvania,” Trump said.
The presidential candidate added that “Most importantly, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family of the person who died at the rally and also to the family of another person who was seriously injured.”
Donald Trump said that he finds it incredible that “Such an act could happen in our country. At the moment, there is no word on the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that went through the top of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong, I heard a whizzing sound, gunshots and felt the bullet go through the skin. There was a lot of blood and then I realized what was happening.”
