O White House candidate Donald Trump gave a speech on Thursday, attacking both US President Joe Biden and his current vice president and potential opponent.
“Three days ago we defeated the worst president in US history. He dropped out because he was polling so poorly”he said in Charlotte, in the US state of North Carolina.
Trump also said that Democrats were “dangerous” people and that the Republican campaign now had to defeat Kamala, who will “destroy the country if elected”. “We have a new victim to defeat,” he stressed.
“We’re going to take back that beautiful White House and make America great again,” he said. Trump also said that Kamala Harris was a “radical left-wing lunatic who will destroy the country if elected”.
Trump recalled the attack he was the target of, and said that he was “supposed to be nice”, but added: “If you don’t mind, I’m not going to be nice”. Continuing with the attacks on Kamala, and saying that she is “even more liberal than Bernie Sanders”, the candidate said that it was because of her that “there were 20 million immigrants entering” the United States.
“It’s incredible how Joe Biden managed to become president. What they have done to our country is unthinkable”these.
Donald Trump also lamented the death of the firefighter who was hit during the shooting on the 13th. “It was a difficult time,” he said.
“But watch that video and notice. Behind him, the people just stood there. They love their country,” he said, referring to the moment when shots were fired at the rally and the people watching (who can be seen behind Trump) barely moved.
This was Trump’s first speech since Biden’s withdrawal from the White House. After recalling the shooting, Trump returned to the “Kamala issue, who is the worst” and also to his criticism of Joe Biden.
Recalling the night of the debate against Biden, Trump reinforced: “Now, bring this [candidata]who is worse than Biden. Because he was a fake liberal. She is a real liberal. If we start winning in the polls, will they bring in a new candidate?”
“Kamala Harris has also been perpetuating the biggest political scandal in the US. For the past three years, she has hidden Biden’s health status,” he said.
