For those of you who don’t have time and want less mess in the kitchen, make the most of your pressure cooker. With it, you can prepare delicious dishes in no time!
Ingredients
- 4 thick round steaks
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 3 chopped tomatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 cube of beef broth
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 2 cups (tea) of boiling water
- 5 sliced potatoes
- Chopped green onions for sprinkling
Preparation Mode
- Season the steaks with pepper and salt.
- Heat a pressure cooker with oil and brown the steaks on both sides.
- Retire e reserve.
- Dissolve the beef broth in hot water and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion for two minutes or until wilted.
- Add the tomato and mix.
- Make a layer with the reserved steaks, pour in the dissolved beef broth and cover.
- Cook for 7 minutes, after the pressure starts, turn off.
- Let the pressure release naturally and, when there is no pressure, open the cooker.
- Cover with the potato, close the pan and cook for another 3 minutes after the pressure starts.
- Let the pressure release naturally and, when there is no pressure, open the cooker.
- Transfer to a serving dish and, if desired, sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve.
Mom’s Tips
The amount of meat is approximately 800 grams.
If you prefer, instead of cutting the meat into steaks, you can also cut it into large cubes.
Serve with white rice.
