Delicious homemade ice cream with pieces of fruit in a delicious sauce. Irresistible!
Ingredients
- 1 kg of ripe peaches
- 1 can of cream
- 3 cups (tea) of sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of maraschino liqueur
How to Prepare Ice Cream
- Set aside 5 cleaned peaches.
- Remove the pits from the remaining peaches, place in a blender and blend.
- Measure the mixture obtained and add enough water to form 1 liter.
- Add half the sugar, cream, lemon juice and mix.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours, removing and beating every 15 minutes during the first hour.
How to Prepare Peach Syrup
- Place the whole peaches in boiling water, remove the skins and then chop into small pieces.
- Bring the remaining sugar to the boil along with 7 tablespoons of water.
- Let it boil without stirring, until you get a thick syrup.
- Add the chopped peach, leave on the heat for a few minutes and remove.
- Add the maraschino and let cool.
Mom’s Tips
Assemble ice cream cups, adding a little of the syrup with the chopped peach and cover with the ice cream.
If you prefer, you can replace the maraschino with peach liqueur.
Yields approximately 8 servings.
