Delicious homemade ice cream with pieces of fruit in a delicious sauce. Irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of ripe peaches
  • 1 can of cream
  • 3 cups (tea) of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons of maraschino liqueur

How to Prepare Ice Cream

  1. Set aside 5 cleaned peaches.
  2. Remove the pits from the remaining peaches, place in a blender and blend.
  3. Measure the mixture obtained and add enough water to form 1 liter.
  4. Add half the sugar, cream, lemon juice and mix.
  5. Refrigerate for 3 hours, removing and beating every 15 minutes during the first hour.

How to Prepare Peach Syrup

  1. Place the whole peaches in boiling water, remove the skins and then chop into small pieces.
  2. Bring the remaining sugar to the boil along with 7 tablespoons of water.
  3. Let it boil without stirring, until you get a thick syrup.
  4. Add the chopped peach, leave on the heat for a few minutes and remove.
  5. Add the maraschino and let cool.

Mom’s Tips

Assemble ice cream cups, adding a little of the syrup with the chopped peach and cover with the ice cream.

If you prefer, you can replace the maraschino with peach liqueur.

Yields approximately 8 servings.
