UA plane carrying former president and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had to divert and make an emergency landing at an airport in the state of Montana, in the United States, this Friday.
According to the Associated Press (AP) news agency, Trump was on his way to Bozeman, Montana, where he was going to participate in a rally, when a mechanical problem forced the plane to divert to Billings Airport, about 230 kilometers from its destination.
After the incident, Trump flew to Bozeman on a private jet, a source at the Billings airport told the AP.
Trump’s campaign released a video of his arrival at the rally, where he said he was happy to be in Montana, without ever mentioning the incident during the trip.
