Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • ½ cup (tea) of milk
  • 1 cup (tea) of butter
  • 1 and ½ cups (tea) of chopped milk chocolate
  • 1 and ½ tablespoons of baking powder

  • 4 egg whites, beaten until stiff

Dough Preparation Method

  1. Grease and flour a baking sheet and set aside.
  2. Mix the flour with the yeast and set aside.
  3. Dissolve the chocolate in the milk and set aside.
  4. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  5. In a mixer, beat the sugar and butter until you get a creamy and fluffy mixture.
  6. Add the egg yolks one by one and beat well.
  7. Without stopping beating, add the dissolved chocolate alternating with the flour mixed with the yeast.
  8. Finally, gently add the beaten egg whites.
  9. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the dough comes out clean.

Ingredients Filling

  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur
  • 8 tablespoons apricot jam

Preparation Method Filling

  1. Dissolve the jelly over the heat.
  2. Remove, add the liquor and mix well.

Ingredients Topping

  • 175 grams of dark chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons of warm fresh cream
  • 75 grams of butter

Preparation Mode Coverage

  1. Melt the chocolate.
  2. Add the cream, butter and mix well.

Pie Assembly

  1. Cut the dough in half.
  2. Spread the filling all over the dough.
  3. Cover with the other dough and pour the topping over the pie.
  4. Smooth with a spatula.
  5. Decorate as desired.

Mom’s Tips

It is not recommended to replace butter with margarine.

Orange liqueur that can be used: Grand Manier or Cointreau
