Maria Corina Machado thanks international support after “crude maneuver by the TSJ”

After the Supreme Court of Justice Venezuela’s Supreme Court ratifies re-election of Nicolás Maduro as president after allegations of fraud, Opposition leader María Corina Machado and candidate Edmundo González spoke out again.

María Corina Machado thanked all the displays of international support and wrote on X’s social network: “At this point, no one believes the TSJ’s crude maneuver to hide the records that demonstrate Edmundo González’s overwhelming victory. “So, once again, the regime was wrong: what the TSJ ruled was its complicity with the CNE fraud. Far from ‘closing the case’, they have accelerated the process that isolates and sinks Maduro further every day.”

For its part, Edmundo González said that the Supreme Court of Justice issued a ruling to please the Nicolás Maduro regime.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan Prosecutor’s Office assured that it will soon summon Edmundo González to investigate him for publishing the voting records on a web portal.
