Watermelon Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 large watermelon
  • 1 litro de rum carta prata
  • 1 cup (tea) of cherry brandy
  • 2 cups (tea) of grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup (tea) of lemon juice
  • Soda lemonade

Preparation Mode

  1. Mix the rum, cherry brandy and juices and refrigerate.
  2. Remove the pulp from the watermelon and chop it into cubes.
  3. Place some ice cubes in an ice tray, fill with water and place in the freezer.
  4. Place the remaining pulp in a punch bowl.
  5. Add cold drinks.
  6. Mix and add lemonade soda to taste.
  7. Serve with watermelon ice cubes.

Eggnog in the Punch Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 liters of cream
  • 2 cups (tea) of gold rum
  • 2 cups (tea) of silver rum
  • 2 cups (tea) of brandy
  • 1 cup (tea) of apricot liqueur
  • ½ kg of icing sugar
  • Grated nutmeg
  • 12 eggs

  1. Place the egg yolks in a bowl and set the whites aside.
  2. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until thick.
  3. Add the gold rum, stir and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  4. Remove and add the cognac, silver rum and apricot liqueur.
  5. Beat the egg whites until stiff, add the cream and add to the egg yolk mixture.
  6. Place in a punch bowl and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  7. Serve in tall mugs.

Mom’s Tips

Use good quality cream.
