According to the newspaper TN, the events that are the subject of investigation occurred in the city of Lanús, Argentina. The person involved, a former sergeant of the Buenos Aires Provincial Police who had been exonerated from the public force in 2007, arrived late at night on Sunday, September 1, to pick up a service.
Two teenagers got into the car, but as they started the journey, one of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at them. In a quick reaction, the 54-year-old former police officer snatched the gun and shot them, causing serious injuries to one of the attackers.
The 15-year-old was taken to the Narciso López Hospital, where died in the middle of surgery.
The deceased’s accomplice managed to flee the scene of the crime and the driver was arrested hours after the fateful event. After being questioned, the subject was released.
