A 10-year-old girl, daughter of a member of the Islamist movement Hezbollah in Lebanon, died on Tuesday, September 17, due to the explosion of her father’s messenger pager, reported the family and a source close to this group affiliated with Iran.

This is the first reported fatality after the almost simultaneous explosions of communication equipment used by the Islamist group, which left hundreds injured in several areas of Lebanon.
In updates, it was reported that the son of a Hezbollah MP was killed in a pager explosion in Lebanon.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated: “Several members of the Lebanese group Hezbollah arrived at hospitals in Damascus and Rif Damascus province after being injured when the pagers they were carrying exploded.”
According to the NGO, based in the United Kingdom and with a wide network of collaborators on the ground, one of the explosions took place inside a vehicle that was travelling near the capital’s Kafr Sousa district.
