  • 100 grams of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/3 cup (tea) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups (tea) of confectioner’s sugar
  • 45 ml of milk
  • Orange gel dye

  • White, black and orange fondant
  • Chocolate sprinkles (optional)

How to Prepare the Topping

  1. In a mixer, beat all the ingredients until the dough is smooth.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Decorate the cupcakes using a piping bag.
  4. Decorate with the models when serving.

Preparation method Dough

  1. Prepare the paper cups by placing them in own form para cupcakes.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In a mixer, on high speed, beat the butter with the sugar until light.
  4. Add the eggs one by one and mix very well until smooth.
  5. At low speed, gradually add the wheat flour, alternating with the orange juice and zest.
  6. Turn off the mixer, add the yeast and mix gently.
  7. Place in the molds and bake for approximately 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from the mold and let cool.

Mom’s Tips

Use the black, orange and white fondant to shape the hat. Place it on the cupcakes when serving.
