Ingredients

  • 1 3 kg pork leg
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 1 cup of olive oil
  • 1 glass of water
  • bacon to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Set aside a large baking sheet.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  3. Using a fine-tipped knife, pierce the leg in several places.
  4. In a blender, beat the remaining ingredients.
  5. Place the leg in the baking dish.
  6. Cover the leg with this seasoning mixture.
  7. Using a spoon, introduce this seasoning into the perforations in the leg.
  8. Bake in the oven for approximately 4 hours or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven, place in a baking dish and decorate with peaches or as desired.

Mom’s Tips

Use a cup with a capacity of 250 ml of liquid as a measurement.

If you prefer, you can season the leg of pork in advance and marinate it.

While the leg is roasting, baste it occasionally with the sauce from the pan.

Yields approximately 12 servings (boneless leg).
