According to authorities, the subject was murdered with a firearm and then his body was cremated. After many years, through technology and the use of artificial intelligence, the face of the deceased has been recreated.

How did the man’s murder happen in the Netherlands?


On September 6, 2005, in the Netherlands, the burned body of a man was found in a tennis club. But it was in 2006 that other remains of the same body were found in the waters of the Scheldt-Rhine Canal 30 kilometers from the location of the investigations.

It was specified that it does not have European features and that it probably He was born in a volcanic area of ​​Colombia, that is, around Medellín.

The case was taken to the Bogotá Sectional Prosecutor’s Office to begin the clarification of the crime after 19 years after the incident occurred.

This is how Valbuena explained the process: “With the collaboration of forensic anthropologists and forensic morphologists, the reconstruction of the possible face of the victim was obtained.”
