Ingredients
- 1 ready pizza disc
- 2 endive plants, cleaned and chopped
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic, squeezed
- 1 cup chopped bacon
- 1 cup (tea) tomato sauce
- 3 cups of grated provolone cheese
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- Black pepper to drop
- Oregano to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Preheat the oven.
- In a pan, fry the bacon in olive oil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the garlic and let it fry for approximately another 5 minutes.
- Add the escarole, tomato, pepper, salt and let it cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is very dry.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place the dough in a pizza pan.
- Distribute the sauce over the sautéed endive and cover with the provolone cheese.
- Sprinkle with oregano.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
- Remove from the oven and serve.

Use your favorite tomato sauce, homemade or industrialized.
