Ingredients

  • 1 ready pizza disc
  • 2 endive plants, cleaned and chopped
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic, squeezed
  • 1 cup chopped bacon
  • 1 cup (tea) tomato sauce
  • 3 cups of grated provolone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Black pepper to drop
  • Oregano to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. In a pan, fry the bacon in olive oil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the garlic and let it fry for approximately another 5 minutes.
  4. Add the escarole, tomato, pepper, salt and let it cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is very dry.
  5. Remove from heat and set aside.
  6. Place the dough in a pizza pan.
  7. Distribute the sauce over the sautéed endive and cover with the provolone cheese.
  8. Sprinkle with oregano.
  9. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve.

Mom Tips

Use your favorite tomato sauce, homemade or industrialized.
