Ingredients

  • 1 cup of powdered milk
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted margarine
  • ½ cup (tea) of water
  • 1 echo
  • 4 and ½ cups of sweet cassava starch

Preparation Mode

  1. Prepare a large baking tray by lining it with parchment paper. Book.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In a mixer, beat the water, powdered milk and sugar.
  4. Add the margarine, egg yolk and beat well.
  5. Remove the bowl from the mixer and slowly add the sweet cassava starch, mixing with a wooden spoon.
  6. On a smooth, floured surface, shape the dough into ropes.
  7. Cut the strings into small pieces and place them on the baking tray leaving space between them.
  8. Place in the oven to bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Mom Tips

As soon as the dough comes away from your hands, stop adding tapioca starch.

Before removing the cakes from the oven, check that they are firm and not softened. They are white and slightly golden on the bottom.
