Mirsa López, a resident of Dallas, United States, was arrested after being accused of cause a deadly fire to a mobile home northeast of the city. Apparently, the woman set fire to the building because she was denied entry to the bathroom.

A person and their pet died

According to FOX4 KDFW, the Dallas, Texas Fire and Rescue Department responded to the call of a fire reported on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in the Lombardy Lane area.

The fire reportedly caused damage to 4 mobile homes and 4 cars. According to the affidavit obtained by authorities, Mirsa López, who claimed to be in a relationship with one of the owners, Gary Fisher, was the one who started the fire.

Apparently, during Saturday morning, Lopez knocked on Fisher’s door while he was sleeping, presumably to ask for a bathroom. He told her to leave the place and close the door, while he returned to bed.

Given the refusal, The woman decided to set the place on fire, allegedly telling a neighbor that she had done it because Fisher wouldn’t let her in to use the bathroom. Witnesses told police they saw Mirsa sitting in a chair outside the crime scene.

During the interrogation, the detainee told the police that had lit a plastic bag and placed it between a car and the mobile home of the man with whom she presumed to have a relationshiparguing that she was upset with him and admitting that she knew that he was still inside the property.

The woman’s indiscriminate actions caused the death of a man and his three dogsfor which she is now deprived of her liberty in Lew Sterrett prison.
