This sweet potato bread is delicious. Very soft and fluffy. Try it!
Ingredients
- 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 and ½ cups cooked and mashed sweet potato
- 1 and ½ tablets of fresh organic yeast
- 4 tablespoons butter at room temperature
- ½ cup (tea) sugar
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 1 echo
- 1 ovo
Preparation Mode
- Grease and flour a loaf pan and set aside.
- In a bowl, place the yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar and mix well.
- Add, stirring constantly, the remaining sugar and mix again.

Add the milk, sweet potato, butter, egg and yolk.
- Add the flour little by little, kneading and kneading the dough until it no longer sticks to your hands.
- Shape the dough into a loaf of bread and place it in the pan.
- Place the pan in the turned off oven, close the door and let the dough rise until it doubles in volume.
- After the bread has risen, remove the pan and preheat the oven at medium temperature for 10 minutes.
- After the oven is preheated, place the bread to bake for approximately 40 minutes.
- Serve with jam of your choice.
Mom Tips
Biological yeast works best if it is taken out of the refrigerator an hour before being used to prepare bread recipes.
It is not recommended to cook sweet potatoes in the microwave.
After cooking in a pan with water, drain and use a juicer to crush them well.
Yield of 1 large loaf or, if you prefer, several small ones.
