The chief of the Israeli General Staff, Herzi Halevi, assured that in the attack launched against Iran early Saturday “they only resorted to some of their military capabilities.” and warned that “they have the capacity to do much more,” he said in a video published this Sunday by the Army.

“Our message is very clear and is related to what has happened in the Middle East in recent months. We know how to reach and attack any threat, anywhere and at any time,” he said.
Lieutenant Halevi insisted that the attack, which caused the death of four Iranian soldiers and one civilian as well as damage to some radars, hit “strategic systems in Iran.”
He stated that they are prepared “for all scenarios on all fronts.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also spoke along the same lines today, indicating that the Israeli attack on Iranian territory affected its defensive capabilities and its ability to develop missiles.
Israel framed this attack in its response to the Iranian bombardment in early October with nearly 200 ballistic missiles.
Israel publicly admits attacking Iran
It is the first time that Israel publicly admits having attacked Iran, although there was already retaliation, never officially recognized, after the first Iranian attack against the country, in April.
Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian, for his part, defended this Sunday his country’s right to respond to Israel’s recent attack against various points in Iran, although he affirmed that Tehran is not seeking war.
“We do not seek war, but we will defend the rights of our nation and country. “We will give an appropriate response to the aggression of the Zionist regime (Israel),” Pezeshkian assured at the weekly meeting of his cabinet, as reported by the IRNA agency.
