A woman from the United Kingdom reported that His son received a package of cannabis-infused candy in the middle of the traditional Halloween trick-or-treating trip. Authorities took charge of the complaint in order to clarify the case that involves an illegal substance in that country.

According to the Daily Mail, Terri Turnbull, a Durham woman, contacted authorities after one of her children received a package of Cannaburst, fruity flavored gummies that are infused with cannabis extract.

Apparently, the family enjoyed the Stanley Halloween Festival and, on the way back to their homeher 7-year-old son, James, took the “long way home” with a group of friends to trick-or-treat around the area.

The minor handed the package of candy to his brother, who immediately alerted his mother. “It’s really worrying. I don’t know where the world is going to end. I want parents to be aware. Control the candy you give your children,” Terri said.
