Ana María has been missing since February 2, when she was last seen in Madrid.
The Serbian had pleaded not guilty to the kidnapping charges that he faces before the US Justice for the disappearance of his wife, from whom he was in the process of divorcing.

David Knezevich could be charged with the death penalty
According to court documents consulted by the EFE news agency, Knezevich is a potential defendant to face the death penalty.
The last news that those close to him had about the victim was that he was looking for a new rental apartment with the expectation of leaving his residence in Fort Lauderdale, north of Miami, and staying in the Spanish capital long-term.
How did Ana María Henao disappear?
Henao Knezevich disappeared shortly after a man wearing a motorcycle helmet disabled the security cameras of the apartment building in Madrid, where she was staying and sprayed the camera lenses with aerosol.
That man was later identified as Knezevich, who presumably entered his wife’s home and left with a suitcase, which, authorities suspect, could have contained the woman’s body and which he got rid of when he returned in a rented vehicle. to the Serbian capital, the same one with which he traveled to Madrid.
Prosecutors say security video showed Knezevich at a Madrid hardware store using cash to buy duct tape and the same brand of spray paint that the man in the motorcycle helmet used on the security camera.
They also allege that the man in the motorcycle helmet has the same height and eyebrows as Knezevich, and that his cell phone connected to Facebook from Madrid.
David Knezevich would have kidnapped the Colombian woman in Spain
The accused, a naturalized American technology businessman, traveled to Spain to “kidnap” his wife from her apartment in Madrid, a fact that “supports a large amount of circumstantial evidence” presented by the Prosecutor’s Office, maintains the FBI.
Knezevich, who remains arrested without bail, maintains that he has never set foot in Spain and that he has nothing to do with his wife’s disappearance.
