Ingredients

  • ½ kg of ground beef
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 50 ml of oil
  • 50 grams of chopped green chilli
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 120 grams of wheat flour
  • 1 medium chayote
  • 1 large carrot
  • 2 medium cassava
  • 1 large potato
  • 2 medium peeled tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 whole eggs
  • Breadcrumbs

Preparation Mode

  1. Reserve the tomatoes.
  2. Cook the vegetables together.
  3. Knead well and set aside.
  4. Sauté the ground beef in oil until it is very loose.
  5. Add the seasonings little by little.
  6. Add the tomatoes.
  7. After everything is well cooked, add the crushed vegetables and milk.
  8. When this mixture boils, add the wheat flour all at once and stir until it comes out of the pan.
  9. Let it cool a little.
  10. Shape the croquettes.
  11. Dip in beaten eggs and then in breadcrumbs.
  12. Fry in very hot oil.

Yield will depend on the size of the croquettes.
