Ingredients

  • 2 kg cubed pumpkin, peeled and seeded
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green chilli
  • 2 cups (tea) of water
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 clove of crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic until golden.
  2. Add the pumpkin, pepper and salt.
  3. Mix, add water and let it cook.
  4. Stir from time to time.
  5. When the pumpkin is soft, remove from the heat.
  6. Place on a platter and sprinkle with the green scent.

Approximate yield of 8 servings.

If you prefer, you can add other ingredients of your choice to the stew.
