Ingredients

  • 1 kg cubed chuck or shoulder
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 beef broth cube
  • 3 cups of hot water
  • 2 cups of diced carrots
  • 2 cups of cubed cassava (optional)
  • 2 chopped seedless tomatoes
  • Green chili or parsley to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pressure cooker, over medium heat, heat the oil and brown the meat cubes.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, extract and fry for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the hot water, stock cube, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for 25 minutes, after the pressure has started and turn off.
  5. Let the pressure release naturally and then open the pan.
  6. Add the carrot, cassava and tomato.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes, after the pressure has started and turn off.
  8. Let the pressure release naturally.
  9. Transfer to a container and sprinkle with green pepper or parsley.

Mom Tips

Serve with white rice and salad of your choice.

If you prefer, you can use another type of meat of your choice.
