There is not a single possibility, not one, not even half a possibility, (that) the filthy lord (Edmundo) González will set foot in Venezuela without being detained,” said the Minister of the Interior, Diosdado Cabello, during a press conference of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), broadcast on the state channel VTV.

Cabello stated that González Urrutia “is not brave” when remembering that on July 29, one day after the in-person meetings, he stayed at the Netherlands Embassywhere he remained for more than a month and then requested asylum and traveled to Spain in September considering that he was suffering “political and judicial persecution” in Venezuela.

“The three were denied adequate medical care that they urgently needed. Three lives taken by a criminal system, three families torn apart and whose human rights have been violated,” said the opposition member, who expressed solidarity with her loved ones.

In the opinion of the former deputy, there is “only one way to stop this tragedy”, which is – she added – “to fulfill the mandate that the people gave” in the July 28 elections – when she claims that the majority opposition candidate won. , Edmundo González Urrutia- and “do justice.”
