Ingredients

  • ½ kg of bow tie pasta
  • Enough water
  • Salt to taste
  • 220 grams of cream cheese in polenghi-type tablets
  • ½ liter of hot milk
  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste
  • Fried bacon slices or cubes for garnish (optional)
  • ½ bunch of basil (optional)

Preparation Mode

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until it is al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a pan and quickly fry the onion.
  3. Add the wheat flour and brown it.
  4. Add the milk and, stirring constantly, let it cook until it starts to thicken.
  5. Add the basil, chopped cheese sticks, salt and pepper.
  6. Drain the water from the pasta and serve it with the cream.

Mom Tips

When chopping the cheese, you can save some pieces to decorate the dish, in addition to the Parmesan cheese and slices of bacon.
