Through a video published on social networks, the opposition leader in Venezuela María Corina Machado assured: “I’m fine, I’m sure, today is January 9th. We left a wonderful concentration, they chased me. “I dropped my wallet, the little blue purse that I had with my belongings, it fell on the street and I’m fine, safe and Venezuela will be free.”
In the video, María Corina is seen dressed in a black hooded jacket that covers her hair and with a bottle of water in his hand. During his message he spoke quietly and slowly.
After learning of the video, fellow opposition member Leopoldo López wrote on his social networks that “this video is either false or forced under duress. This is the dictatorship.”
