Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 100ml fresh cream
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch of thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ nutmeg
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 200 grams of parmesan cheese

Preparation Mode

  1. Cut the potatoes into very thin slices and place in a dish with the cream.
  2. Season with garlic, bay leaves, thyme, salt, black pepper, nutmeg and half the parmesan.
  3. Place over high heat and add boiling water until the cream boils.
  4. Lower the heat to minimum and cover the dish for 6 minutes.
  5. Uncover the dish, sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan and place over high heat in the oven until the cheese browns.

Mom Tips

The ideal is to buy a piece of cheese and grate it on the coarse side of the grater.

You can use (type) English potatoes.
