Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes
- 100ml fresh cream
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch of thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ¼ nutmeg
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 200 grams of parmesan cheese
Preparation Mode
- Cut the potatoes into very thin slices and place in a dish with the cream.
- Season with garlic, bay leaves, thyme, salt, black pepper, nutmeg and half the parmesan.
- Place over high heat and add boiling water until the cream boils.
- Lower the heat to minimum and cover the dish for 6 minutes.
- Uncover the dish, sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan and place over high heat in the oven until the cheese browns.
Mom Tips
The ideal is to buy a piece of cheese and grate it on the coarse side of the grater.
You can use (type) English potatoes.
