Escondidinhos are always present in Brazilian meals. A complete, quick and practical dish that cannot be missing from your menu. Very nutritious and tasty!
Filling Ingredients
- 600 grams of prime minced meat
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Puree Ingredients
- 1.3 kg of boiled and juiced potatoes
- ½ cup of hot milk
- Grated nutmeg to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley to taste
- Salt to taste
- 4 tablespoons of cream
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 50 grams of grated parmesan cheese
Filling preparation method
- In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the meat until the water dries up.
- Add the onion, garlic and sauté until golden.
- Add the tomato, pepper, salt and turn off.
Puree Preparation Method
- Cook the potato in boiling salted water for 15 minutes or until softened.
- Drain and pass them hot through the juicer.
- Add the milk, cream, butter, nutmeg, pepper, parsley and salt.
- Blend with a spoon until you obtain a smooth puree.
Assembly
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
- In a medium-sized dish, pour the filling and cover with the puree.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
Mom Tips
Parmesan cheese can be replaced with mozzarella cheese.
Once the dish is ready, you can sprinkle it with chopped parsley.
