O author of the shooting that killed 14 people at the University of Prague, in the Czech Republic, confessed, in a farewell note before taking his own life, to having killed two people in the forest before the attack. The information was confirmed by the Czech police.
In the note, found in the home of 24-year-old David Kozak, the young man confessed to having shot dead a 32-year-old man and his two-month-old daughter, in a forest near the city, on December 15, six days before the attack on university.
The police also shared, according to the BBC, that David was already identified on an initial list of suspects responsible for the deaths. Ballistics tests ended up confirming the perpetrator of the crimes.
The young man also killed his own father, in the village of Hostoun, west of Prague, bringing the total number of victims in his hands to 17 (14 from the shooting, plus the two deaths in the forest and the father).
The university shooting was considered the worst in the history of the Czech Republic. In addition to the deaths, the shooting left 25 people injured, nine of whom were in serious condition.
Remember that, last Thursday, the 21st, David, a History master’s student, began shooting indiscriminately at his colleagues at Charles University, in Prague. He ended up taking his own life after finding himself surrounded by police.
The motives for the crime are still unknown.
