UA baby was found abandoned in a rubbish bin, this Tuesday morning, in Girona, Spain.
The baby, already lifeless, was found by a street sweeper at 7 am, and it was not known how long he had been there.
The fatal victim was inside a plastic bag, with the umbilical cord. The bin had been cleaned for the last time on Saturday, reports El Pais.
According to the Spanish press, it is not known whether the baby was already dead when he was abandoned or whether the death occurred after birth.
An autopsy will be carried out to determine details. The case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation agents of the Mossos d’Esquadra de Girona.
