1st Option
Ingredients
- 300 grams of semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 100 ml coconut milk
- 50 grams of grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon unsalted margarine
Preparation Mode
- In a pan, place the condensed milk, coconut milk, grated coconut and margarine.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it no longer sticks to the pan.
- Remove and place on a plate to cool.
- Place in the fridge and once chilled, remove portions and roll into balls. Reserve.
- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and follow the instructions on the package.
- Dip the balls in melted chocolate and place on baking paper.
- If you prefer, sprinkle the chocolates with grated coconut.
- After the candy is dry, remove any burrs.
- Place in paper cups or package.
2nd Option
Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 250 grams of grated coconut
- 1 pinch of salt (optional)
- Semisweet chocolate
Preparation Mode
- In a bowl, place the first three ingredients.
- Mix well. Don’t go to fire.
- Let it rest for 2 hours in the fridge.
- After this time, remove portions and form into balls.
- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and follow the instructions on the package.
- Dip the balls in the melted chocolate.
- Place on parchment paper.
- After the candy is dry, remove any burrs.
- Place in paper molds or wrap like candy.
Mom Tips
The second option’s candy is excellent for filling Easter eggs. In this case, press the candy into the egg shell, using the back of a spoon.
If you prefer, you can replace the noble chocolate in the chocolates with fractionated milk chocolate.
Easter egg shells must be made with noble chocolate.
Before packing chocolates or Easter eggs; wait 8 hours minimum.
