Dough Ingredients
- 2 and 1/2 cups wheat flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil (tea)
- 3/4 cups of warm water (tea)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablet of fresh yeast
Ingredients Coverage
- 300 grams of sliced mozzarella
- 150 grams of Calabrian sausage cut into strips
- 2 tomatoes cut
- 1/4 cup olive oil (tea)
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- salt to taste
Preparation mode
- In a bowl, put the water and in it, dissolve the yeast.
- Add 1 cup of wheat flour, olive oil and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add 1 more cup of flour and mix until it comes away from the bowl.
- Transfer the dough to a smooth surface dusted with flour.
- Knead, adding the remaining flour little by little until smooth and elastic.
- Form a ball, place in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
- Book for 40 minutes or until it doubles in volume.
- Lower the oven rack and heat the oven to high.
- Knead the dough for another minute and open it to form a disc.
- Turn the mold over, grease the bottom with oil, sprinkle with flour and place the dough disc on top.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
Coverage Setup Mode
- In the blender, beat the tomato and pass it through the sieve.
- Place the mozzarella over the pasta and, on top, the tomato sauce and salt.
- Distribute the sausage, sprinkle the oregano and water with olive oil.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the mozzarella melts.
- Serve immediately.
Mother’s Tips
For a change, you can replace the pepperoni with turkey breast.
