Ingredients

  • 2 cups of sifted wheat flour
  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • ¾ cup (tea) oil
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
  • 100 grams of raisins
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 apples, one large and 2 small.
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Preparation Mode

  1. Place the raisins in a small pan, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn off and let cool.
  3. Once cold, drain and set aside.
  4. Line a pan with a central hole with baking paper. Book.
  5. Clean, peel the apples and place the peels in the blender.
  6. Chop the apple pulp into cubes and set aside.

    Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

  8. Place the wheat flour, apple pulp and raisins in a bowl. Book.
  9. In the blender, along with the shells, add the eggs, sugar, oil, cinnamon and yeast.
  10. Beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  11. Place the mixture in the reserved bowl.
  12. Stir with a wooden spoon until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  13. Pour the dough into the pan and bake for approximately 1 hour or until it is well colored and a toothpick inserted into the dough comes out dry.

Mom Tips

You can use white, black raisins or both together to obtain 100 grams.

If you prefer, mix the raisins after draining with the liquor of your choice.

The pan lined with baking paper makes it easy to unmold the cake.

There is the option of, when removing the cake from the oven, soaking it with the juice of 2 oranges mixed with cinnamon powder to taste.

Approximate yield of 10 servings.
