This is an easy, practical, delicious Swiss roll recipe with a festive flavor. How about for an afternoon snack?!
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup (tea) of sifted wheat flour
- ½ cup (tea) of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Filling Ingredient
- 300 grams of apricot jam
Topping Ingredient (optional)
- 2 cups (tea) of whipped cream
- 6 dried apricots, halved
Preparation Mode
- Grease a 16 x 11-inch baking dish with butter.
- Heat the oven to 180ºC.
- In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff, add the egg yolks and sugar and continue beating until fluffy.
- Add the flour and yeast and mix slowly.
- Place on the baking tray and bake until it comes away from the sides.
- Remove, unmold onto a cloth sprinkled with sugar. Set aside.
- Bring the jelly to a boil, stirring until it melts.
- Spread over the baked dough and roll up the smaller side, using the cloth. Let it cool.
- Decorate with whipped cream and apricots or decorate as you like.

Apricot is widely used in cakes, Swiss rolls and in the making of liqueurs, ice cream, jellies, pavés and juices.
