For its part, the Israeli army declared having struck “during the night, a Hezbollah weapons warehouse” in the Nabatieh region, as well as “military structures” of the Lebanese Shiite movement in the Hanine and Marun El Ras regions, near the border between the two countries.

In Israel and the occupied Golan Heights, 22 soldiers and 26 civilians were killed by rocket and missile fire from Lebanon, Israeli officials said.
