This baked pasta will definitely be one of your family’s favorites! Very good!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of cooked short pasta al dente
  • 100 grams of bacon cut into cubes
  • ½ cup (tea) of grated mozzarella
  • 1 can of cream without whey
  • 1 cup (tea) of milk
  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • Chopped green onions to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Clean the cauliflower.
  2. Cut it into bouquets and place in a pan with salted water.
  3. Cook until the cauliflower is tender.
  4. Drain and let cool.
  5. Place in a blender with the milk and blend. Set aside.
  6. Cook the short pasta and set aside.
  7. In a pan, heat the olive oil, melt the margarine, brown the bacon and onion.
  8. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  9. Remove the pan from the heat, add the blended cauliflower, cream and mozzarella.
  10. Season with pepper, salt and parsley.
  11. Prepare a large baking dish by greasing it.
  12. Place the cooked pasta and spread the cream on top.
  13. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until golden brown.
  14. Serve immediately.

Mom’s Tips

Short pasta: pasta shorter than 10 centimeters in length. Examples: penne, snail, screw, etc.

Yields approximately 6 servings.
