This baked pasta will definitely be one of your family’s favorites! Very good!
Ingredients
- 500 grams of cooked short pasta al dente
- 100 grams of bacon cut into cubes
- ½ cup (tea) of grated mozzarella
- 1 can of cream without whey
- 1 cup (tea) of milk
- 1 large cauliflower
- 2 tablespoons of margarine
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- Chopped green onions to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Grated parmesan cheese to taste
Preparation Mode
- Clean the cauliflower.
- Cut it into bouquets and place in a pan with salted water.
- Cook until the cauliflower is tender.
- Drain and let cool.
- Place in a blender with the milk and blend. Set aside.
- Cook the short pasta and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil, melt the margarine, brown the bacon and onion.
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
- Remove the pan from the heat, add the blended cauliflower, cream and mozzarella.
- Season with pepper, salt and parsley.
- Prepare a large baking dish by greasing it.
- Place the cooked pasta and spread the cream on top.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
Mom’s Tips
Short pasta: pasta shorter than 10 centimeters in length. Examples: penne, snail, screw, etc.
Yields approximately 6 servings.
