It is one of the favorite fruits of the French! Tasted nature, at the end of a meal or as a snack, integrated into a smoothie or a cake, pan-fried and flambé, banana is essential. Do you have a little too ripe in your compoter left and of course nobody at home wants to eat them as what? Don’t panic, we have the solution! On his Instagram account, Le_couteau published an absolutely irresistible banana recipe. Here’s how to do it.

The advantage of this recipe is that it requires no addition of butter, oil or cream, or sugar. The crushed banana alone will bring a sweet flavor and a lot of softness, and thus advantageously replaces the fat and white sugar! Ditto for the compote, whose wet texture and softness also make it possible to bring softness and a sweet side, all with fewer calories. You can choose an apple compote (relatively neutral taste) or an apple/banana compote.

This Banana Flan is a great opportunity to use bananas a little too ripe, but also to recycle a tablet of chocolate which would have whitewashed (and therefore much less tasty crunched as it is). The Instagrameuse has chosen milk and hazelnut chocolate, but you can completely opt for another chocolate tablet of your choice (black, milk, raisins, almonds, the choice is wide!)
