Ingredients
- ½ kg of rump cut into cubes
- 1 medium onion grated
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted margarine
- 3 cups (tea) of boiling water
- 3 medium carrots cut into slices
- 3 medium potatoes cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Preparation Mode
- In a bowl, place the meat and season with half the salt.
- In a pan, over high heat, melt the margarine and sauté the garlic and onion.
- Add the meat and fry for approximately 5 minutes, or until it completely changes color.
- Add the water, carrots, potatoes, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and season with the rest of the salt, if necessary.
- Let it cook, with the pan covered, over medium heat for approximately 20 minutes, or until the meat and carrots are tender.
- Remove and serve.
Mom Tips
Approximate yield of 6 servings.
If you prefer, you can add other vegetables of your choice to the minced meat.
