Simple and quick to make cornbread, it can be a complement to your afternoon snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cornmeal
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 glass of milk
  • ½ cup of oil
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Grated coconut or cheese to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. Grease and flour a pan. Set aside.
  3. In a blender, beat all the eggs.
  4. Add the remaining dry ingredients, alternating with the milk and oil.
  5. Mix until you get a smooth mixture.
  6. Place the mixture in the pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes.

Mom’s Tips

The cup used is the cottage cheese type.

Yields approximately 6 servings.
