Simple and quick to make cornbread, it can be a complement to your afternoon snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cornmeal
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 glass of milk
- ½ cup of oil
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Grated coconut or cheese to taste
Preparation Mode
- Preheat the oven.
- Grease and flour a pan. Set aside.
- In a blender, beat all the eggs.
- Add the remaining dry ingredients, alternating with the milk and oil.
- Mix until you get a smooth mixture.
- Place the mixture in the pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes.
Mom’s Tips
The cup used is the cottage cheese type.
Yields approximately 6 servings.
