What did your boss tell you?
In a live broadcast on the RTVE network from Paiporta, Valencia, one of the passers-by, with a bag on his shoulder, told how, Although he lives in Alfafar, one of the areas most affected by the disaster caused by DANA, he was on his way to work.
“My boss calls me today at 7:30 am, very upset, annoyed, telling me why I’m not at my workplace, that my obligation is to be there at 7:00 am, that I should find a life for myself, that he tell my neighbors that someone will take me“said Fabián, who works as an electrician.
In his story, the affected person says that his car was swept away by the floods, in addition to the fact that the Metro service was not enabled, so he would have to walk 2 and a half hours from his house to work.
“I live with my wife and my youngest son. My wife worked in a real estate company that was flooded, that business is not going to work anymore. I am the only source of income and I am afraid of losing my job.“said the Alfalfar resident.
Although he knows that the workshop where he works is not having a good time either, he is focused on addressing the needs in his community, but his boss’s response was blunt, telling him that he had to get to the place no matter what.
Surreal testimony: Fabián, from Alfafar, is forced by his boss to go to work after losing EVERYTHING to Dana. His work is a 2:30 hour walk away. Outrageous situation of heartless bosses. #LaHora4N pic.twitter.com/Vn2frLtPpm
