Ingredients
- 500 grams of bucatini pasta
- 1 can of cream
- 2 cups cooked ham (diced)
- 1 cup of fried bacon in cubes
- 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon of salt
Preparation Mode
- In a large pan, boil 5 liters of water.
- Add the salt and add the pasta.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until al dente.
- In a bowl, mix the cream with the ham, bacon and peas.
- Drain the pasta, reserving 2 cups of the cooking water.
- Add this water to the sauce bowl, mix and, in the same pan used to cook the pasta, add the sauce and drained pasta.
- Mix well.
- Let it heat without boiling.
- Sprinkle the pepper and serve immediately.
Mom Tips
The peas can be replaced by a can of drained vegetable selection.
