Ingredients

  • 500 grams of bucatini pasta
  • 1 can of cream
  • 2 cups cooked ham (diced)
  • 1 cup of fried bacon in cubes
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of salt

Preparation Mode

  1. In a large pan, boil 5 liters of water.
  2. Add the salt and add the pasta.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes or until al dente.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cream with the ham, bacon and peas.
  5. Drain the pasta, reserving 2 cups of the cooking water.
  6. Add this water to the sauce bowl, mix and, in the same pan used to cook the pasta, add the sauce and drained pasta.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Let it heat without boiling.
  9. Sprinkle the pepper and serve immediately.

Mom Tips

The peas can be replaced by a can of drained vegetable selection.
