Can we find the famous “Dubai tablet” in France for the end of year celebrations?

We know it well, we have seen it over the years: TikTok has become the new Eldorado for bringing out new trends, including in food. From pasta chips to Dalgona coffee or even cloud bread and more recently franui… There are many recipes or foods that have sparked real enthusiasm thanks to this Chinese social network. The latest phenomenon? There “Dubai tablet”a chocolate bar filled with pistachio. A treat that would be ideal for the end of year celebrations, but can we find it in France?

The tablet from Dubai, this XXL tablet garnished with pistachio and kadaïf (angel hair) is panicking the TikTok sphere. It is an international success that we owe to the Anglo-Egyptian Sarah Hamouda. The 38-year-old young woman, who has been living in Dubai for 9 years, decided in 2022 to create Fix Dessert Original.

At the origin of this creation: pregnancy desires. Indeed, to develop this tablet, Sarah Hamouda was inspired by her food impulses when she was pregnant. She did not expect that this simple tablet would become a true global phenomenon: “To be honest, at no point did I think it would go global,” she confided to CNN Travel on June 18.

Unfortunately, today the famous tablet is not available in France. Indeed, Sarah Hamouda has decided for the moment not to export this product in order to preserve its quality. As a reminder, each tablet is made by hand. Therefore, it is currently only sold in Dubai. At least for the original tablet, since this success many copies have emerged.

A competition which annoys the store at the origin of this success which also shared a word on the subject via Instagram: “Beware of scammers! So-called distributors do not keep Fix dessert bars in good condition and sell them three times more expensive, taking advantage of the loyalty of our customers. We’re working hard to make Fix available in more cities, ensuring you get the quality and authenticity you deserve.”

To test it, nothing better than doing it yourself. It will also be much more economical.
