Pave? It’s to eat! Impossible to resist this pavé! Crispy, delicious and with a very special flavor! In addition to making a little on the plate, I preferred to make most of it in jars, especially because I wanted to give gifts to loved ones.
Ingredients
- Cornstarch cookies
- Liqueur or rum to moisten the cookies
- 10 favorite chocolates
- 200 grams of dark chocolate
- 150 grams of finely chopped walnuts
- 1 can of whey-free cream
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of whole milk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (cornstarch)
- 1 dessert spoon of vanilla essence
- 2 excited
Preparation Mode
- Leave bowls, glasses, pots or refractory dishes aside to assemble the pavé.
- In a thick-bottomed pan, place the condensed milk, milk, cornstarch and egg yolks.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until creamy.
- Turn off the heat, add the essence and let it cool covered with plastic wrap.
- Chop the chocolates coarsely and set aside.
- Chop the chocolate and set aside.
- Break the biscuits into small pieces and moisten them with the rum or liqueur. Book
- In a bain-marie, heat the cream without letting it boil, and pour it over the chocolate.
- Mix well until the chocolate is melted to obtain a homogeneous cream. Let it cool.
Pavé Assembly
- Arrange the pavé in layers: cookies, white cream, nuts, chocolates, chocolate cream, and so on.
- Finish decorating with chocolates.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve.
Mom Tips
Use the empty condensed milk can to measure the whole milk.
Walnuts can be replaced with any chestnuts of your choice.
You can replace the cornstarch cookies with the champagne type or even with chocolate cake or sponge cake.
The pavé can also be enhanced with dried fruits, chocolate shavings, mousses, fruit compotes, etc.
