Ingredients

  • 10 to 15 ripe star fruit
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of neutral alloy powder
  • 1 tablespoon of emulsifier
  • 3 tablespoons of powdered milk

Preparation Mode

  1. Once sanitized, chop the starfruit into small pieces, always removing the seeds.
  2. Place in a pan with the sugar, place over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Once cold, place the mixture in a blender, add the neutral alloy and blend for 3 minutes.
  5. Place in a bowl and place in the freezer for 2 hours or until it starts to harden.
  6. Remove from the freezer, place in the mixer, add the condensed milk, emulsifier, powdered milk and beat for approximately 5 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  7. Place the mixture in ice cream containers and place in the freezer for 4 hours or until completely hardened.

For the recipe, the star fruits must be medium in size.

Have you tried natural starfruit juice? In a blender, blend 3 ripe star fruit (very yellow) with ½ liter of water. Strain and add juice of ½ lemon with 2 tablespoons of sugar of your choice or honey. Serve with ice. Delicious!
