Cassava puree
Ingredients
- 500 grams of cooked and mashed cassava
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 grated onion
- Green scent to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- In a frying pan, heat the butter, add the onion and let it sauté.
- Add the cassava, the green chilli, salt and milk.
- Mix until you obtain a creamy puree.
- Serve
Mom Tips
Yield of 5 servings.
Decorate with fried bacon.
The cassava is also known as baroa potato.
Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6 medium potatoes, chopped
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- Green scent to taste
- Coriander to taste
- Grated parmesan cheese to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Place the chopped potatoes in a dish, add salt and a little water.
- Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high power for approximately 15 minutes.
- Remove, mash the potatoes, add the milk, margarine, green chilli and coriander.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and return the puree to the microwave for another 2 minutes.
