Cassava puree

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of cooked and mashed cassava
  • 1 cup of milk (tea)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 grated onion
  • Green scent to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. In a frying pan, heat the butter, add the onion and let it sauté.
  2. Add the cassava, the green chilli, salt and milk.
  3. Mix until you obtain a creamy puree.
  4. Serve

Mom Tips

Yield of 5 servings.

Decorate with fried bacon.

The cassava is also known as baroa potato.

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup of milk (tea)
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • Green scent to taste
  • Coriander to taste
  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Place the chopped potatoes in a dish, add salt and a little water.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high power for approximately 15 minutes.
  3. Remove, mash the potatoes, add the milk, margarine, green chilli and coriander.
  4. Sprinkle with grated cheese and return the puree to the microwave for another 2 minutes.

Mom Tips

Microwave time is approximate depending on oven type.
