Gather the family for Sunday lunch and surprise them with this delicious lasagna!

Ingredients

  • 2 kg of cooked and crushed cassava
  • 500 grams of mozzarella cheese

Ingredients Special Bolognese Sauce

  • ½ kg of ground soft drumstick
  • ¼ cup dry red wine
  • 2 cans of chopped peeled tomatoes
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • ½ grated carrot
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ cup chopped green olives
  • Seedless red pepper to taste
  • Herbs
  • Condiments
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Cook the cassava well and crush it with a fork or juicer until you get a puree.
  2. For the sauce, place the olive oil, onion, garlic and carrot in a pan to brown.
  3. Add the meat and sauté for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, seasonings and herbs.
  6. Add the olives.
  7. Add the wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
  8. Add the chopped tomatoes and milk.
  9. Cook in a covered pan for 30 minutes over medium heat. Book.

Assembling the Lasagna

  1. In a greased dish, make layers of cassava puree, layers of sauce and cheese.
  2. Place in the oven until you see that the cheese has melted.
  3. Serve hot.

Mom Tips

Condiments to taste: ground cinnamon, ground cloves or grated nutmeg.

Chopped herbs to taste: Thyme, marjoram, sage or oregano.
