Simple, easy to make and very tasty. Try this hidden dish! Yum…!!
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of cooked cassava
- 1 can of cream with whey
- 2 tablespoons of margarine
- ½ kg of jerky
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Cook the cassava until soft.
- Drain the water, squeeze or mash while still hot.
- Add the margarine and salt and once they are well mixed, add the cream. Set aside.
- Cut the desalted jerky into cubes and place in a pressure cooker for about 10 minutes.
- Drain the water and shred.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a little olive oil, add the shredded beef jerky and let it fry a little.
- Add salt if necessary.
- In a large baking dish or individual baking dish greased with olive oil, first place the charque, then the cassava puree.
- On top, place a slice of mozzarella or prato cheese and sprinkle with oregano.
- Place in the oven to heat.
Mom’s Tips
You can replace the cassava with pumpkin.
